Nymphaea, Folia Naturae Bihariae, is the yearbook of the Natural Sciences Section of the Museum of the Country of Cri\u0219urilor in Oradea. It was founded in 1973 by Prof. Univ. Dr. Sever Dumitra\u015fcu, the then director of the museum. Between 1973-1982, 10 volumes (I-X) appeared, after which the yearbook was discontinued. In the period 1984-1990, Nymphaea was published as an extract from Crisia (vol. XIV-XX), from 1991 the yearbook began to appear again as an independent publication, until now volumes XXI-XLVIX have been published.<\/p>\n

The yearbook addresses various topics in the field of life and earth sciences (botany, zoology, geology, paleontology, speleology, environmental protection, etc.), as well as issues related to museum heritage management, but several articles in the field of pisciculture and horticulture were also published.<\/p>\n

From the year of its publication until now, the yearbook has gained more than 150 exchange partners both from the country and abroad, in recent years their number has shown a growing trend. In order to have a wider impact on the international scientific community, some of the articles are published in a language of international circulation (usually English).<\/p>\n

The declared purpose<\/strong> of the journal is to publish the results of research in botany, zoology, geology, paleontology, speleology, environmental protection, etc., through studies and materials relating primarily to Bihor county, but also to other areas.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
